Volunteer Management is an individual, short course from the Fundraising Essentials Certificate. As nonprofit organizations are asked to do more with less, leveraging a program with limited or no salaries is extremely important. In this course, you learn how to use your board of directors to set the culture of philanthropy in your organization and create a valuable experience for your volunteers. If done successfully, volunteers can be pathways to prospective donors as well as your most loyal donors themselves. In this course, you’ll set the foundation to recruit and train the right volunteers for an engaging volunteer experience.
